Superior Court is the court of general jurisdiction. It is the trial court for all felonies and civil suits pursuant to RCW2.08.010. Superior Court also has jurisdiction in adoption, probate, competency, divorce and juvenile cases. In addition it hears appeals from District Court decisions.

Clark County's Superior Court has eleven elected judges, three full-time judicially appointed court commissioners and one part-time commissioner. The Office of the Superior Court Administrator performs the executive functions to enable the judges to focus on adjudication of cases.

The Administrator handles all the fiscal and logistical needs of the courts. The office provides several services in connection with the administration of justice, to wit:
