Clark County provides a range of regional services countywide spanning more than 200 programs. Many of these programs provide services to all residents, whether they live within a city's boundaries or in an unincorporated area.

Clark County government is the only local jurisdiction that deals with the entire geopraphic area of the county. Its structure is complex, with eighteen elected officials, thirteen regional councils and districts, and numerous appointive boards.

Most elected officials' offices are in the Clark County Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin Street, Vancouver. The Board of Commissioners Office is on the sixth floor of the Public Service Center.
