You may have the right to a court-appointed interpreter in a court case. Please ask someone at the District Court Administrative Office (ground floor).

The interpreter program is handled by the District Court Interpreter Coordinator for all the courts in Clark County. 

Title 2.43 and 2.42 of the Revised Code of Washington (RCW), authorizes the appointment of language interpreters to assist non-English speaking persons and hearing impaired individuals in legal proceedings. The statute is intended to protect the constitutional rights of non-English speaking persons and people with hearing impairment.
