Real Property Auctions
Delinquent property taxes on real property accounts which are three (3) or more years delinquent, are subject to foreclosure.
Prospective Buyers
The foreclosure tax sale is held online annually, usually in the month of February, at Bid4Assets.com. The list of properties subject to tax sale is available each December and interested buyers can visit our storefront to view the listings, property information and title reports. Prospective buyers are strongly encouraged to research each property extensively prior to participating in the sale.
In order to participate in the tax sale, prospective buyers must register with Bid4Assets and submit a $2,500.00 deposit plus a $35.00 processing fee by the posted registration deadline. To review the full terms of participating in the auction, please review our Terms of Sale.
Homeowners subject to foreclosure may redeem properties from tax foreclosure until the day before the auction and many properties will be removed prior to the sale date.
Personal Property Distraint
Pursuant to RCW 84.56.070, business personal property is immediately subject to distraint once taxes become past due.
Equipment seized by the Treasurer’s Office will be auctioned through the county’s auction site at www.govdeals.com/clarkcounty.
Delinquent taxpayers facing personal property distraint are subject to service fees, please visit our fee schedule here.
