American Rescue Plan funds (ARPA)
Clark County Council approved $15.5 Million in American Rescue Plan funds to increase capacity for our local Homeless Crisis Response System.
Outreach Services: $4.4 Million
Clark County has partnered with local providers to expand homeless outreach teams' capacity to connect unsheltered residents to case management, mainstream, and essential services.
Shelters: $5 Million
Increasing shelter capacity is a key focus. Clark County is entering into contracts with local agencies to create safer spaces for unsheltered community members.
Motel Vouchers: $800,000
Clark County has partnered with Council for the Homeless to increase capacity for unsheltered individuals to access motel vouchers.
Housing and Essential Needs: $300,000
Clark County has allocated additional support to assist households enrolled in Housing and Essential Needs programs.
Rapid Rehousing: $2.5 Million
To support unhoused residents gain housing stability, Clark County is entering into contracts with local agencies to provide rent assistance, housing navigation, and case management services.
Permanent Supportive Housing: $2.5 Million
To support chronically homeless persons, Clark County is entering into contracts with local agencies for rent assistance, housing navigation, and connections to mainstream services.
Emergency Solutions Grant funds (ESG)
Utilizing the Emergency Solutions Grant - CARES Act, Clark County has distributed $4,196,760 to local agencies to increase Homeless Crisis Response System Activities including homeless outreach, emergency shelter, rapid re-housing, Homeless Management Information System supports, and staffing costs to support emergency response efforts.
Covid Eviction Prevention Rent Assistance (ERA)
Since August of 2020, through a network of local service providers, Clark County has distributed over $44.3M in direct financial assistance for rent and utilities to low-income households.
