Julie Olson

Councilor District 2

Julie Olson was on the Ridgefield School Board for eight years, serving for a time as vice president and six years as president.

A native Washingtonian, she was born in Seattle, raised in Kennewick and finished high school in Spokane. She settled in Clark County in 1993. She has one adult son.

Councilor Olson worked 28 years in private industry specializing in scientific sales management and marketing.

At the University of Idaho, she earned a bachelor's degree in microbiology.  While in college, she played NCAA Division 1 volleyball on an athletic scholarship.
