Voter Education & Outreach

A white mail stamp on the blue background with a red rectangle and text your vote is your voice.

Voter outreach and education plays an important role in helping voters make their voices heard and stay informed.

Clark County Elections appreciates grassroot efforts to increase election participation, maintain voter rolls, and prepare voters for a positive voting experience. Using and distributing accurate information is vital to the communities' trust in elections.

Washington is a vote-by-mail state. Pursuant to RCW 29A.40.010, each active registered voter will automatically be issued a ballot. You may return your ballot using an Official Ballot Drop Box, by postal mail, or in person.

If you would like to see what ballot processing in our office looks like, click the image below. Please note that this video was created a few years back. Since then, our office was remodeled to increase security, transparency and efficiency to provide a better experience for voters and certified election observers. Some of the logistics changed, such as different vendors, but the overall processes remain largely identical.
