At 2 pm on Wednesday, June 15, the Clark County Elections Office will conduct a logic and accuracy test of the programming to be used to tabulate ballots and the accessible voting units for the Aug. 2 primary and special election.

The test will be held at the Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St. Members of the news media, candidates and jurisdictions with measures on the ballot, and the public are invited to attend this test, which is required under Washington law.

Ballots will be mailed Friday, July 15.

Vancouver, Wash. - Following the close of business on Friday, May 20, 2022, after candidate forms have been verified for accuracy and qualifications, a lot drawing will be conducted for all races except Precinct Committee Officers to determine the order candidate names will appear on the official primary ballot.  

This public drawing will be held at 1408 Franklin Street, Vancouver, and may be witnessed by the news media, the public and by any candidate.

Vancouver, Wash. ‒ Every election, the Clark County Auditor’s Office provides an online and printed voters’ guide with information about candidates and ballot measures for voters to make an informed decision when voting. The voters’ guide includes statements by and photographs of candidates for elective offices as well as local ballot measures with supporting and opposing statements written by citizens.

Vancouver, Wash. - The filing period for citizens wishing to become candidates for elective office is rapidly approaching. Candidates are strongly encouraged to file their declaration online. The online period to file a declaration of candidacy will be available at clark.wa.gov/elections beginning at 9 am, Monday, May 16 and must be submitted by 4 pm Friday, May 20, 2022.

Beginning at 9 am Wednesday, April 27, elections officials will perform a hand count of approximately 600 ballots randomly selected as part of a manual comparison against machine results.

The selected ballots will be counted in the total returns on Election Day. But for this comparison, the Evergreen School District ballot measure will be counted by hand, to check the accuracy of the ballot tabulation equipment.

If a voter has not received their ballot, they should contact the Elections Office at 564.397.2345 or elections@clark.wa.gov.
