Vancouver, Wash. – Beginning at 9 am Wednesday, Aug. 5, elections officials will perform a hand count of approximately 600 ballots randomly selected as part of a manual comparison against machine results.

The selected ballots will be counted in the total returns on Election Day. But for this comparison, the 3rd Congressional District Representative race will be counted by hand, to check the accuracy of the ballot tabulation equipment.

Vancouver, Wash. ‒ Ballots for the Aug. 4 primary and special election are in the mail to all registered voters in Clark County.

If a voter does not receive a ballot by Thursday, July 23, please contact the Elections Office at (564) 397-2345 to request a replacement ballot. Replacement ballots also may be requested by mail, email, or in person at the Elections Office at 1408 Franklin St. Office hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Vancouver, Wash. ‒ At 2 pm on Monday, July 20, the Clark County Elections Office will conduct a logic and accuracy test of the programming to be used to tabulate ballots and the accessible voting units for the Aug. 4 primary and special election.

The test will be held at the Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St. Members of the news media, jurisdictions with measures on the ballot and the general public are invited to attend this test, which is required under Washington law.

Ballots will be mailed Friday, July 17.

Vancouver, Wash. – The Clark County Council is seeking nominations and applications to fill a vacant position on the three-member board that oversees Drainage Improvement District No. 5.

This position is for an unexpired term that ends in February 2022. The position will then be put on the special district general election ballot for a four-year, unexpired term.

Vancouver, Wash. ‒ At 2 pm on Friday, April 24, the Clark County Elections Office will conduct a logic and accuracy test of the programming to be used to tabulate ballots and the accessible voting units for the April 28 special election.

The test, which is required under Washington law, will be held at the Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St.

This election is only for registered voters in the Woodland School District. Ballots were mailed to all Woodland School District voters on Friday, April 10.
