Vancouver, Wash. ‒ The last day to submit a mail-in voter registration form to be eligible to vote in the April 23 special election is Monday, March 25.

Online registration applications can be submitted up to 11:59 pm Monday, March 25. Visit the Elections Office website at clarkvotes.org and click on MyVote to register online.

Vancouver, Wash. ‒ Every election, the Clark County Auditor’s Office provides an online voters’ guide with information about candidates and ballot measures for voters to make informed decisions when completing their ballots. The voters’ guide includes statements by and photographs of candidates for elective offices as well as local ballot measures with supporting and opposing statements written by citizens.

Vancouver, Wash. – Clark County’s charter contains a provision that, 5 years after its adoption, it is to be reviewed by a charter review commission consisting of 15 persons elected on a non-partisan basis.  The election of the commission members will occur in the 2020 General Election.

Vancouver, Wash. – Clark County Auditor Greg Kimsey is encouraging voters to take advantage of several convenient ways to submit their special election ballots early, in case there is inclement weather on Election Day, Feb. 12.

Vancouver, Wash. – Beginning at 8:30 am Wednesday, Feb. 13, elections officials will perform a hand count of approximately 600 ballots randomly selected as part of a manual comparison against machine results.

The selected ballots will be counted in the total returns on Election Day. But for this comparison, the Vancouver School District levy measure on those ballots also will be counted by hand, to check the accuracy of the ballot tabulation equipment.

If a voter does not receive a ballot by Thursday, Jan. 30, please contact the Elections Office at 564.397.2345 to request a replacement ballot. Replacement ballots also may be requested by email, mail, or in person at the Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St. Office hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
