Vancouver, Wash. ‒ Each year, the Clark County Auditor’s Office publishes a voters’ pamphlet for the primary election and mails it to all households in Clark County. It includes candidate statements and photographs and local ballot measures with supporting and opposing statements written by citizens.

Vancouver, Wash. – Following the close of business on Friday, May 18, 2018, after candidate forms have been verified for accuracy and qualifications, a lot drawing will be conducted for all races except Precinct Committee Officers to determine the order in which candidate names will appear on the official primary ballot.
The drawing will be held at the Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St., and is open to the public.

Candidate filing for the 2018 general election is rapidly approaching.
In-person filing will begin at 8 am Monday, May 14, and end at 5 pm Friday, May 18, at the Clark County Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St., Vancouver. Filing fees must be paid by cash or check when filing in person.
Candidates also can file online, from 9 am Monday, May 14, through 4 pm Friday, May 18, at www.clarkvotes.org. Online filers must have valid email addresses and pay any filing fees using Visa or Mastercard.

Vancouver, Wash. – The Clark County Elections Office has announced that the 99th Street Transit Center and Vancouver Mall 24-hour drive-up ballot deposit locations will be open for the April 24 special election.
The Vancouver Mall ballot drop box is located southwest of Sears near the C-Tran Vine Station. The 99th Street Transit Center drop box is located at 9700 NE 7th Ave., between 94th and 99th streets.

Vancouver, Wash. - Ballots are in the mail to all registered voters for the upcoming April 24 special election. For this election, ballots are being mailed only to voters in Battle Ground School District.
If a voter does not receive a ballot by Thursday, April 12, please contact the Elections Office at 360.397.2345 to request a replacement ballot. Replacement ballots also can be requested by email, mail or in person at the Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St. Office hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.

Vancouver, Wash. ‒ Monday, March 26, 2018, is the last day to submit a mail-in voter registration form to be eligible to vote in the April 24 special election.

Vancouver, Wash. – At 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, the Clark County Elections Office will conduct a logic and accuracy test of the programming that will be used to tabulate ballots and the accessible voting units for the April 24 special election.
The test will be at the Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St. Members of jurisdictions with measures on the ballot, the public and the news media are invited to attend the test, which is required under Washington law.

Vancouver, Wash. – Beginning at 8:30 am Wednesday, Feb. 14, elections officials will hand count approximately 600 randomly selected ballots as part of a manual comparison with machine results.
The selected ballots will be counted in the total election day returns. But for this comparison, the Evergreen Public Schools race on those ballots will be counted by hand to check the accuracy of the ballot tabulation equipment.
The procedure was recommended by the Washington Secretary of State’s Office and is now standard practice in Clark County.
