Beginning at 9 am Wednesday, Aug. 4, elections officials will perform a hand count of approximately 600 ballots randomly selected as part of a manual comparison against machine results.

The selected ballots will be counted in the total returns on Election Day. But for this comparison, the City of Vancouver mayoral race will be counted by hand, to check the accuracy of the ballot tabulation equipment.

Beginning Friday, July 16, ballots will be in the mail to all registered voters in the following jurisdictions: city of Camas Wards 1 and 3, city of La Center, city of Vancouver, city of Washougal, Town of Yacolt, Battle Ground School District, Evergreen Public Schools, Hockinson School District, Vancouver Public Schools, Fire Protection District No. 5, Clark Regional Wastewater District and Emergency Medical Service District No. 1.

At 10 am on Wednesday, June 23, the Clark County Elections Office will conduct a logic and accuracy test of the programming to be used to tabulate ballots and the accessible voting units for the Aug. 3 primary and special election.

The test will be held at the Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St. Members of the news media, candidates, jurisdictions with measures on the ballot and the public are invited to attend this test, which is required under Washington law.

Ballots will be mailed Friday, July 16.

If a voter has not received their ballot, they should contact the Elections Office at 564.397.2345 or elections@clark.wa.gov.

Beginning Friday, Jan. 22, ballots will be in the mail to all registered voters in the Battle Ground School District and Camas School District for the Tuesday, Feb. 9, special election. If a voter does not receive a ballot by Wednesday, Jan. 27, they should contact the Elections Office at (564) 397-2345 to request a replacement ballot.
