PROJECT
The 2025 Preservation and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Improvement Project will deliver important infrastructure upgrades, including:

  • Curb ramp construction and upgrades, including the addition of detectable warning surfaces to guide visually impaired pedestrians and improve accessibility in compliance with modern ADA standards
  • Sidewalk connectivity enhancements to construct missing sections of sidewalk to create continuous pathways
  • Crosswalk signal and push-button system modernization, to meet current standards

These improvements will take place at multiple locations throughout Clark County, ensuring compliance with ADA requirements and supporting safer, more inclusive travel for all.

This project is split into multiple groups:

  • Group 1: Construct, reconstruct or remove 24 ramps as part of the county's summer road preservation program
  • Group 2: Construct, reconstruct or remove 66 ramps, and construct missing sidewalk sections
  • Group 3: Construct, reconstruct or remove 58 ramps across various sites
  • Group 4: Install 110 detectable warning surfaces to improve accessibility and pedestrian safety
