On September 11, 1989, the bodies of Dale Anderson, 54, and his wife, Janet Anderson, 51, were discovered inside their home in the 2500 block of SE 362nd Avenue in Washougal. 

Investigators determined that Janet was shot multiple times after arriving home from work. When Dale returned home, he appeared to have been attempting to reach the phone when he was attacked and also shot multiple times. 

Their homicides remain unsolved.
