Jason Cruze, 24, was reported missing by family members after he had not been seen or heard from for about a week. Early in the investigation, detectives developed information indicating that Cruze had been murdered and may have been killed in one of several locations within Vancouver. 

Several years later, hunters in the mountains of Skamania County discovered Cruze’s skull and jaw. The remainder of his remains have never been found. His homicide remains unsolved.
