Kimberly Kersey, 18, left Mountain View High School and was believed to be walking home, but she never arrived and was never seen again. Her school books were later found on a trail near her parents’ apartment in the 13600 block of Northeast 18th Street in Vancouver. 

Kersey had planned to travel to Tacoma later that day to meet her boyfriend and attend a basketball tournament. She never made it to her destination, and her disappearance remains unsolved.
