Clean Water seeks community input about protecting, restoring water quality in local rivers, lakes and streams

The Public Works Clean Water division is asking residents for input about which programs, activities and services are most important to them via a survey opening March 25. This information will be used to guide planning efforts to update the division’s service offerings. The survey asks residents why rivers and lakes are important to them and how we should protect and improve water quality. Learn more.

Hazel Dell Community Park master plan update open house, March 27

The Parks and Lands division of Clark County Public Works is updating the master plan for Hazel Dell Community Park. Residents are invited to an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 27. Learn more. 

Northeast 68th Street construction starts in March

A contractor for the project has been selected and construction will begin in March. Construction will require brief lane closures of Northeast 68th Street between Northeast 10th Avenue and Northeast 14th Avenue. Local access for emergency vehicles and neighboring residents will be maintained during the closure. Learn more.

Apply to be a volunteer residential park host

Clark County Public Works is seeking applicants for open volunteer park host positions at Haapa Boat Launch and Frenchman’s Bar Regional Park, and an upcoming position at Lucia Falls Regional Park. Volunteer park hosts live at their assigned park and assist with creating a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors. Learn more.
