Weed Board

The Clark County Weed Board is a five-member board that advises the Clark County Council on controlling noxious weeds in Clark County.

Notice of Recommended Weed Board Applicants

As directed in RCW 17.10.050, the Clark County Noxious Weed Control Board has solicited and received applications from county residents interested in serving on the five-member Weed Board for the remainder of the four-year term (2021-2024).

One application was received.  The Weed Board has sent the recommended name to the Clark County Council for appointment.  Per RCW 17.10.050, the County Council, within sixty days of receiving the list of nominees, shall appoint those nominees to the Weed Board.

Weed Board members are not paid salaries but are compensated for necessary expenses incurred in the performance of serving on the board.

The Weed Board is scheduled to meet four times in 2024:

  • Feb 5 – Regular meeting
  • May 6 – Regular meeting
  • Aug 5 – Regular meeting and appeals, if any
  • Nov 4 – Regular meeting and appeals, if any

Meetings will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Meetings will be held at 4700 NE 78th St. Vancouver, WA 98665 in Conference Room B1 and via Microsoft Teams
