Vancouver, WA – Clark County residents who are interested in parks are encouraged to apply to fill a vacancy on the Parks Advisory Board.
The successful applicant will fill the remainder of a term that ends Dec. 31, 2017, and be eligible for reappointment to the seven-member board.
The board typically meets from noon to 2:30 p.m. the second Friday of the month, usually at Luke Jensen Sports Park, 4000 N.E. 78th St.
Vancouver, WA – County Manager Mark McCauley is seeking a local resident to represent the business community on the Clark County Arts Commission.
The City of La Center also is seeking a resident to serve on the commission.
Terms would be effective immediately and last four years.

Vancouver, WA – Drivers might notice longer delays at an intersection west of Battle Ground after Clark County modifies the intersection’s traffic signal to reduce vehicle crashes.
The intersection is at Northeast 72nd Avenue and Northeast 199th Street, where 29 crashes occurred from 2011 through 2015. Many of these crashes resulted in injuries.

The store is a source of financing for local Habitat for Humanity home-building projects and functions as a local hub for reuse and recycling.
