Clark County’s Commitment to Accessibility
Clark County is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to make our websites, applications, and digital content accessible and usable by everyone.
Accessibility Standards
Clark County aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, which provide guidance on making web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor impairments.
Ongoing Efforts
We are actively working to improve the accessibility of our digital services by:
- Reviewing new and existing content for accessibility
- Training staff on accessibility best practices
- Collaborating with vendors to improve the accessibility of third-party tools
- Monitoring compliance through testing and evaluation
While we strive to ensure all content is accessible, some older content or third-party systems may not yet fully meet accessibility standards.
