Vancouver, Wash. – With the support of a Clark County Parks Foundation grant, a new Spin-Max Tower from Allplay Systems was installed at Vancouver Lake Regional Park in August. The equipment, which replaced deteriorating equipment at the popular park, was purchased in May.

Vancouver, Wash. – Frequent travelers of Highway 99 should prepare for intermittent delays between Northeast 78th Street and Northeast 134th Street beginning Monday, Aug. 19.
Drivers can expect intermittent, single-lane closures throughout the project area while crews with Clark and Sons Excavating perform pavement repair and crack-sealing work throughout the corridor. Work will be done between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Vancouver, Wash. – Members of the public can learn more about an upcoming project to improve trail access and amenities at Lower Daybreak Park during an open house next week.

Vancouver, Wash. – Drivers in the Mount Vista area should prepare for a full closure of Northeast 159th Street between Northeast 57th Avenue and Northeast 50th Avenue beginning Monday, July 22.
Contractor crews installing sanitary lines in the area noticed erosion and deterioration of the soil beneath the roadway. The closure will allow contractor Tapani Inc., of Battle Ground, to finish the installation of the sanitary lines, stabilize the ground beneath the roadway and repair those portions of the road.
Vancouver, Wash. – Clark County Public Works invites residents to attend an open house to discuss proposed improvements on Northeast 99th Street between Northeast 94th Avenue and Northeast 117th Avenue/State Route 503.
The open house will be from 4:30 to 7 pm Wednesday, June 26, in the commons area of building 200 at Prairie High School, 11311 NE 119th St.
Clark County scheduled the open house early in the process, so stakeholders can meet with county staff to ask questions and offer comments. Maps of the proposed plan will be available.
Vancouver, Wash. – Clark County and the City of Vancouver invite residents to attend an open house on the Northeast 68th Street sidewalk project. The county and city are partnering on the project which is meant to fill in gaps between existing segments of sidewalks on the south side of the road.

April 10 open house to reveal results of eight-week resident survey
Vancouver, Wash. – Community members are encouraged to help Clark County shape the future of the 78th Street Heritage Farm in Hazel Dell.
An open house has been scheduled for 6-8 pm Wednesday, April 10, in the sixth-floor hearing room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St. County residents will have an opportunity to review and discuss draft recommendations for the Heritage Farm’s master plan update.
Vancouver, Wash. – Clark County is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on a seven-member Parks Advisory Board. The position is completing a term that will expire Dec. 31, 2020.
Board members serve three-year terms. Upon expiration of a term, a member can apply again. There is no limit on how many terms a member can serve.
