Vancouver, Wash. – The Clark County Clean Water Commission this week will present its 2018 Annual Report to the Clark County Council and Clark County Manager Shawn Henessee.

The meeting, which is open to the public, begins at 10:30 am Wednesday, Feb. 27, in the sixth-floor training room, Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.

The report is posted on the county website, www.clark.wa.gov/public-works/clean-water-commission.

Clark County Public Health is continuing its measles outbreak investigation and has no updates to report today. Since Jan. 1, Public Health has identified 65 confirmed cases and is currently investigating one suspect case. Public Health has not identified any new locations where people may have been exposed to measles.

Vancouver, Wash. – Vancouver’s Downtown Association presented Clark County’s Recycled Arts Festival with a 2018 Game Changer Award during its annual meeting last week. The Recycled Arts Festival was named People’s Choice for Favorite Event.

The association’s annual awards honor local “people and businesses who bring their special vision to our downtown and make good things happen,” according to the association website. Award winners were announced at an event Feb. 14 at Hilton Vancouver Washington.
