The Clark County Charter Review Commission is seeking applicants to fill an open position on the commission. The seat is for an at large position. Applicants must be registered voters currently residing anywhere in Clark County.

The unexpired term begins immediately upon appointment and ends Dec. 31, 2021, at the latest.

Commission also has virtual town hall sessions scheduled in June

The Clark County Charter Review Commission is seeking community input through an online survey.

Residents can access the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CharterSurvey2021. The survey will be open until 5 pm Friday, June 18.

Vancouver, Wash. – Regular drivers of Northeast 10th Avenue between Northeast 149th Street and Northeast 154th Street will need to find alternate routes beginning Monday, June 7. 

Monday morning, crews with Clark County’s contractor, Tapani Inc., of Battle Ground, will close approximately 0.25 miles of Northeast 10th Avenue. During the closure, contractors will complete work to improve the roadway, starting with replacing an aging culvert. Local access will be maintained from the north for a small number of homes and other properties along this section of roadway.

Vancouver, Wash. – The COVID-19 vaccination site at Tower Mall will operate for another five weeks before closing on June 29. The site will continue to offer first and second doses of Pfizer vaccine through the last day of operations.

Starting May 28, a random sample of Vancouver and Clark County households will receive mailed surveys from the City/County Telecommunications Commission requesting feedback about their experience with Comcast cable television and broadband services.

Through the survey, the commission hopes to learn what residents think about Comcast's cable service, even if they are not currently a Comcast subscriber, and what they may want related to future cable communications.

Vancouver, Wash. – The Clark County Council is seeking applicants to fill one of three Clark County-recommended positions on the seven-member Fort Vancouver Regional Library District board of trustees.

The position is designated for a Clark County resident living outside the Vancouver and Camas city limits. The unexpired term begins immediately and ends Dec. 31, 2024. The recommendation must be jointly approved by Clark, Skamania and Klickitat counties.

The DDAB is currently prioritizing services for inclusion in the updated five-year comprehensive plan. The DDAB values community members opinions, experiences and history.
