Clark County Public Works seeks applicants for Clean Water Commission

Vancouver, Wash. –Clark County Public Works is seeking applicants to fill one open position on the Clean Water Commission.

The term begins immediately and ends Dec. 31, 2021.

Applicants can live anywhere in Clark County. Residents with expertise and background in environmental issues are encouraged to apply.

The nine-member advisory group makes recommendations to the Clark County Council about services, policies and financing needed to meet federal and state requirements for water quality and stormwater management improvements.

Interested residents must submit a letter and résumé to Justin Maynard, Clark County Clean Water Division, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000 or by email at cleanwater@clark.wa.gov. All applicants who have submitted an application within the last 12 months will be automatically considered.

The application deadline is 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021.

Currently, the commission’s public meetings are being held via WebEx video conferencing and will start at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 6, and Nov. 3, 2021.
