Auto licensing agents will close for system update, Labor Day holiday

Vancouver, Wash. – All Clark County auto licensing subagents will be closed Friday, Aug. 31 and Saturday, Sept. 1 to accommodate an update to the state licensing system. Subagents also will be closed Monday, Sept. 3 in observance of Labor Day.

Licensing offices will reopen at their normal times Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Clark County Auditor’s Auto Licensing Department, located at 1408 Franklin St., will be open to the public for limited services on Friday, Aug. 31. Staff will not have access to the state licensing system and will only be able to issue 15-day permits with proof of expired tabs, registration required, and proof of vehicle purchase, bill of sale required.

The Washington State Department of Licensing is making the update to replace its outdated licensing system.
