This project will retrofit the county's existing storm system to install storm filter cartridges vaults and catch basins and which provide water quality treatment before stormwater runoff is discharged to Cougar Creek.

The project will restore the natural headwater wetland by creating a series of shallow “wet cells” along the existing ditch to promote infiltration, raise the groundwater elevation, and improve the wetland hydroperiod, located in the Cougar Creek sub-watershed of the Salmon Creek watershed. Work to be performed includes clearing and grubbing, excavation, grading, stormwater facilities, sanitary sewer installation, plantings and other work.

This project will improve and preserve various existing roadways in Clark County by placing slurry seal, chip seal, micro-surfacing, fog seal, striping, pavement marking and other associated work.

The parking lot and safety improvement project will create about 200 paved parking stalls, create a new access point to NE 192nd Avenue at the NE 13th Street intersection.  Paved and striped parking lot with approximately 200 stalls.  Addition of parking lot lighting and landscaping, and construction of a stormwater drainage system.
