Friends of Children's Justice Center

Body

Friends of Children's Justice Center (CJC) is a coalition of concerned citizens established to promote justice for child victims of serious physical abuse and sexual abuse and exploitation, and to raise community awareness for the Arthur D. Curtis Children's Justice Center in Clark County.

Friends of CJC cares about all youth in our community. We believe we should do everything possible as a community when a crime is committed against a child.  We also believe  we are fortunate to have CJC as a community resource to sensitively and skillfully help prevent additional trauma to child victims and effectively identify perpetrators and hold them accountable.

Volunteers with Friends of CJC assist with community outreach about CJC services; community education about child maltreatment and prevention; legislative advocacy and support; and small fundraising opportunities.  For more information, contact the CJC main line at 564.397.6002 or via email at CJCInfo@clark.wa.gov.

Please note: You must be at least 18 years of age and pass relevant background checks to volunteer or intern at CJC. We do not allow volunteers or interns in need of court-ordered community service hours.
