The Arthur D. Curtis Children’s Justice Center has joined the National Children’s Alliance SHINE Campaign to bring the conversation about child sexual abuse out of the shadows. SHINE begins with Children’s Advocacy Centers like CJC that provide healing and justice to scores of children each year and that work to bring hope to survivors of child sexual abuse and exploitation. ​

CJC encourages Clark County residents to SHINE in support of survivors – be the light that lets children know they can come out of the shadows, talk about their experiences, feel empowered, and be hopeful. 

It’s up to all of us to end the stigma of shame around child sexual abuse, and it starts by talking about it.
