The Clark County Council at its July 14 meeting decided to re-open its public meetings to in-person attendance beginning Aug. 1. The first council meeting that will be open to the public will be the Tuesday, Aug. 3 public hearing that begins at 10 a.m.
The council’s public meetings will have a hybrid approach where council members, staff and attendees may either participate in person or remotely using the WebEx format. Meeting agendas, participation instructions and a public comment form are on the county’s website at https://clark.wa.gov/councilors/clark-county-council-meetings.
Other county boards and commissions may also be open to the public in a hybrid format. Please refer to the county’s website for specific meeting information.
County employees and visitors entering county buildings are subject to Washington State guidance regarding face coverings. Anyone who is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is not required to wear a mask. Those not fully vaccinated must wear masks in county buildings.
