The Clark County Council invites clerical representatives of all faiths to deliver an invocation to open its Tuesday public meetings. Invocations shall be for the purpose of seeking wisdom and guidance from a higher authority as the councilors engage in critical issues that affect Clark County residents.

The council meets at 10 a.m. Tuesday, except the first Tuesday of each month, when members meet at 6 p.m. Council meetings are in the sixth-floor hearing room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver.

Participating clergy should plan to arrive shortly before the meeting.

The county's invocation guidelines explain how to participate.

The board serves constituents of all faiths, expresses no faith preference, and recognizes no faith as superior or inferior to others.
