Vancouver, Wash. – The Clark County Council has accepted the resignation of Shawn Henessee, County Manager effective today, March 13. The Council thanks Mr. Henessee for his dedication and service to the county. We wish Mr. Henessee all the best in the future.

Pursuant to the County Council’s Rules of Procedures: “When the county manager position is vacant, the deputy county manager will become interim county manager until the council fills the vacancy in accordance with the charter.” Kathleen Otto, Deputy County Manager will assume these responsibilities effective immediately.

The Council will be discussing next steps and will provide updates during this time of transition.
