This is the first art exhibit in the gallery since the Public Service Center closed to the public in April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Art has been missing in the Anstine Gallery for two years as we all dealt with the pandemic,” said Guest Curator Karen Madsen. “These paintings were chosen as a way to say, ‘Welcome back!’ and to show how art can uplift the spirit and unify the community. Art is very much alive in our community and now has returned for our contemplation and enjoyment.”

The Anstine Sixth Floor Gallery was named in honor of Rebecca Anstine, a local artist and founding curator of the public exhibit space who served as a Clark County Arts Commission board member.

The gallery is open 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, except holidays.
