February special election logic and accuracy test scheduled for Jan. 4

At 9 am on Tuesday, Jan. 4, the Clark County Elections Office will conduct a logic and accuracy test of the programming to be used to tabulate ballots and the accessible voting units for the Feb. 8 special election.
The test will be held at the Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St. Members of the news media, jurisdictions with measures on the ballot and the public are invited to attend this test, which is required under Washington law.

Ballots will be mailed Friday, Jan. 21.

For this election, registered voters in the city of Vancouver, Evergreen Public Schools, Green Mountain School District, Hockinson School District, La Center School District, Mount Pleasant School District and Ridgefield School District will receive ballots for this election.

The process of preparing the ballot tabulation system to produce election results will begin at 7:15 pm election day, Tuesday, Feb. 8.

Election results will be available at or before 8:30 pm on the Auditor’s website at clarkvotes.org.
