General election logic and accuracy tests scheduled for Sept. 6, Sept. 8

At 2 pm on Wednesday, Sept. 6, the Clark County Elections Office will conduct a logic and accuracy test of the programming of the accessible voting units for the Nov. 7 General and Special Election.

At 10:30 am on Friday, Sept. 8, the logic and accuracy test of the programming that is used to tabulate ballots for the Nov. 7 General and Special Election will be conducted.

The tests will be held at the Elections Office, 1408 Franklin Street. These tests are required under Washington state law before every election. Members of the news media, candidates, jurisdictions with measures on the ballot and the public are invited to attend these tests.

Ballots for this election will be mailed on Friday, Oct. 20.

All registered voters residing in Clark County will receive ballots for this election.

The process of preparing the ballot tabulation system to produce election results will begin at 7:15 pm election day, Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Election results will be available at approximately 8:30 pm on the Elections’ website at clarkvotes.org.
