Advisory Vote Information


The purpose of an advisory vote is to advise the Legislature to repeal or maintain a tax increase. Advisory votes are non-binding. The results will not change the law. You may vote to repeal the bill, meaning you don’t favor the tax increase, or maintain, meaning you favor the tax increase.

Election Night Results


On Election Day, the process of entering the scanned ballot information into the ballot tabulation system will begin. Election results will be released to the public and news media at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin Street, Vancouver, at or before 8:30 p.m. as well as being available on the Elections website.
