Chad has served with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office for 31 years. Throughout his career, he has held various roles, including Cadet, Reserve Deputy, Patrol Deputy, Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor, Emergency Vehicle Operations Instructor, Detective, Warrants Deputy, Court House Deputy, Guild Executive Board Member, Patrol Sergeant, Administrative Sergeant, Field Training Coordinator, Patrol Commander, and Special Operations Commander. 

A lifelong resident of Clark County, Chad holds an associate's degree in administration of justice from Clark College. Chad and his wife have 2 children and one grandchild.  In his time off he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, camping, golfing, motorcycling, and is a classic car enthusiast.
