Staff will be onsite to assist persons using the facility connect with additional community resources needed.
Transportation for individuals needing this service has been arranged, and daily meals will be provided by Meals on Wheels.
“A referral process has been established through the Council for the Homeless, so hospitals and community organizations that serve the unhoused can identify and refer people who have been tested and need quarantine and isolation using guidance by Clark County Public Health,” said Vanessa Gaston, Director for Clark County Community Services.
Funding for the housing comes from $1.1 million Community Services received from the Washington State Department of Commerce to assist people who are unhoused and need to be quarantined or isolated due to COVID-19.
