Applications for 2023 Emergency Housing Funds available September 18

The EHF Request for Applications is now closed.

Applicants must submit a full application in Bonfire.

Applications are being accepted to maintain fiscal year 2023 emergency housing service capacity. As intended by the legislation, these funds will go to existing services and contracts, to maintain service levels that would otherwise drop due to funding that is expiring.

Questions will be asked and answered in Opportunity Q&A in Bonfire.

Application Process

All applications must be submitted through Bonfire. The application process is as follows:

  1. Full applications must be completed by the end of the day September 29, 2023.
  2. County staff will review all applications and may ask applicant for additional information about the proposed program or the agency. All correspondence will be conducted through Bonfire.
  3. A subcommittee of the Community Action Advisory Board (CAAB) will start reviewing applications once all clarifying questions have been answered.
  4. Application recommendations will be made by the CAAB subcommittee after all applications have been reviewed and scored. Applications are scored on a 100-point scale including both objectively scored components completed by county staff and subjectively scored questions completed by the CAAB subcommittee.
  5. County staff will work with awarded programs to draft contracts to begin November 1, 2023.

 

Eviction Prevention Rental Assistance Program (EPRAP) Applications

The EPRAP Request for Applications is closed.

Applicants must submit a full application in Bonfire.

Applications are being accepted for targeted prevention services through Eviction Prevention Rental Assistance.

Questions will be asked and answered in Opportunity Q&A in Bonfire.

2022 Applications

Applicants must submit pre-applications and respond to any inquiries from Clark County staff before submitting a full application in Bonfire. Due to the RFA settings in Bonfire, applicants will not be able to submit their pre-applications through the Bonfire site. Please see the directions below regarding how to submit your pre-applications for the 2022 HCRS & CAP RFA.

  • Login to the Bonfire site
  • Click on the open RFA opportunity
  • Download the Pre-Application template (Questionnaire in Excel format)
  • Complete the Pre-Application, please complete multiple pre-applications if you are applying for more than one program; one pre-application per program/intervention is needed.

Pre-applications are required. Failure to submit completed pre-applications may void any further application submissions for the 2022 HCRS and CAP RFA, in Bonfire.

Two pre-submittal meetings will be held:
Tuesday, Oct. 12, 3-4pm, via WebEx.
Thursday, Oct. 14, 8-9am, via WebEx.
Content in the meetings will be identical with answers to questions posted in Bonfire. Attendance at the pre-submittal meetings is highly encouraged

Homeless Crisis Response System

Applications for programs providing services in our Homeless Crisis Response System. The types of programs include: permanent supportive housing, rapid rehousing, transitional housing, new shelter capacity and services, homeless outreach, and targeted prevention assistance. Applications will also be accepted to provide a core system program, Rent Well.

Questions will be asked in answered in Opportunity Q&A in Bonfire.
