The 2025 update is a countywide effort that endeavors to engage with a broad and inclusive range of stakeholders and communities, including the cities, tribes, residents, neighborhood and community groups, cultural organizations, business stakeholders, advocacy organizations, and other public and private agencies.
Public Participation Plan
Clark County began the comprehensive plan update process by adopting a Public Participation Plan (PPP) to clearly identify the scope of the proposed update, when legislative action is expected, and how the public can participate or comment. The PPP was approved by the Clark County Council on March 21, 2023.
The PPP provides the public with opportunities for early and continuing participation and access to key decision-making processes with the Clark County Planning Commission and Clark County Council. and describes the steps Clark County will take to provide opportunities for public engagement.
