Body
The Haagen Farm is rumored to have supplied hay to Ft. Vancouver at the turn of the century. This barn was built in 1938 with a round wood roof, and board and batten wood siding. All the wood from the barn, except the cedar shakes, are believed to be from the property. It is said that the 1"x 6"s for the trusses were bent and stacked six high in the pond down on the property. The barn windows are original frames. The milk house and pump house are still present. This is the second barn built in this location and part of the slab of the first barn is still there.
