Project Summary

The applicant is requesting to amend the comprehensive plan designation and zoning from Urban Low Residential with R1-6 zoning to a Commercial designation with Community Commercial zoning on two parcels (156815000 and 156789000) approximately 1.75 acres.


The two properties subject to this request are located on the northwest corner of the intersection of NE 63 St. and NE 66th Ave., approximately 600 ft. west of NE Andresen Rd. Each parcel is currently developed with a house and detached garage.

The owner of parcel 156815000 intends to relocate their dental services business to the property if it were re-designated and rezoned commercial. The owner of 156789000 has no immediate plans to redevelop the property but desires to rezone in conjunction with the neighbor to allow for efficient, future commercial use.
