Definitions
Rural Accessory Dwelling Units (RADUs) are small residential units that are sometimes called granny flats and can be conversions of basements or additions to an existing home.
Urban Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) are small residential units that are sometimes called granny flats and can be conversions of basements, additions to an existing home or a new backyard building.
Cottage houses are houses on individual lots oriented to a common green space.
