- Apply for a new permit and pay initial fees in CC LMS. Staff will create a ProjectDox account for you and add your project to it.

No, additional software is not needed. ProjectDox can be used across all internet browsers, however Chrome is recommended.
Internet Explorer users: You will need to install ProjectDox components. This only has to be done once.

Yes, ProjectDox does run in a Mac environment.
Only you (the person listed as the applicant or your designee) and our review staff can view your applications.
No, you will need only one login for all the applications that you manage. If you anticipate having multiple ProjectDox applications, or if you have several people who will be working on one application, we recommend you create a generic email for yourself or your company that can be used by the entire team.
ProjectDox is available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, and can be accessed at anytime and anywhere for uploading and viewing your plans. Keep in mind that our reviews only happen during regular business hours.
The ProjectDox service is absolutely FREE; plan review and permit fees still apply.
During the submittal and review process, ProjectDox is entirely paperless.
When your plans are approved, you will receive an email indicating that your plans are approved and after payment, they will be ready for download.
You will be responsible for providing access to the approved plans for your trades and county inspectors on your job site for inspections. This could be via printed plans, iPad, or another format.
For uploading plans, submitting revisions and downloading approved plans, ProjectDox is definitely faster. It saves time because you no longer have to drive to our Permit Center and stand in line to submit your plans or revisions. In addition, you’ll also save money since you’ll no longer have to bring in multiple paper plan copies for each revision to be reviewed.
The primary factor in the time it takes to review plans is adherence to the submittal requirements and quality of the plans.
Yes, your plans are held on a secure server. Only you and the review staff have access to the plans, and all plans are read only and cannot be altered.
Yes, beginning September 19, 2022, any project requiring plan review must be submitted via ProjectDox.
You can see review comments as they are added, however, you cannot respond or upload revised plans until all the reviews are complete.
You can track the status of your project 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Searchable, vector PDF files are required for plans.
For document files, you can upload files in other formats.

Plan and document files that are uploaded into ProjectDox are published immediately into a read-only screen format that is used throughout the review and approval process. The plan files themselves, once published, are archived in order to ensure they are never altered or modified in any way. All red-lines, markups and annotations applied to the plan file renditions occur on virtual layers in ProjectDox.
