Your lot must have access to a county or state road. 

You can determine the type of road your lot accesses using these directions:

• Go to Maps Online at gis.clark.wa.gov/mapsonline/index.cfm
• Enter your parcel number or address
• Pick the Layers tab
• Check boxes for Transportation, Roads and All Roads
• Click on the Information symbol to the left of All Roads
  
  A legend will appear showing various road types. Interstate and state roads are not considered county roads. Arterials, collectors, and private roads are county.

A Road Approach and/or Road Modification should have been addressed during the platting process. These reviews cannot be undertaken during the LEAN review process and will make your project ineligible for LEAN review.

Access on to a state road requires that you submit a WSDOT Road Approach approval with your LEAN application packet.
