Closure of northbound Interstate 205 off-ramp to Northeast 134th Street set for tonight

Body

Vancouver, Wash. – Drivers attempting to exit northbound I-205 at the Northeast 134th Street off-ramp will need to take an alternate exit tonight--Monday, June 14 beginning at 9 p.m.

Crews with Clark County Public Works’ contractor, Granite Construction of Vancouver, Wash., will place an asphalt overlay called hot-mix asphalt, or HMA, on the pavement on Northeast 134th Street.

During the closure, the exit will be completely closed. Drivers will need to take the Northeast 179th Street exit, which is the next exit to the north. The road work is expected to last until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15.

Once the off-ramp work is complete, drivers can continue to anticipate nighttime single-lane closures through Friday, June 18, as crews return to the corridor to complete HMA work on 134th Street, from the off ramp to the WSU Vancouver driveway entrance. During that time, the off-ramp and Northeast 134th Street will be open to traffic.

Work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled if necessary.
