Here are the webinars offered this fall:
- Backyard Composting: 7-8 pm Wednesday, Oct. 12. Learn how to construct a compost pile and heat it up.
- Red Worm Composting: 7-8 pm Wednesday, Oct. 19. Learn how to construct and maintain a worm bin that will turn kitchen trimmings into nutrient-rich fertilizer. Participants will be eligible to receive a worm bin (supplies limited).
- Lasagna Garden Composting: 7-8 pm Wednesday, Oct. 26. Learn how to grow, build, and plant a raised-bed garden from free, easily obtainable urban waste. No tilling or turning required.
- Food Too Good to Waste: 7-8 pm Wednesday, Nov. 2. Learn why it is important to keep food waste out of the landfill and hear about alternative options like curbside food waste collection, food waste share apps, community food waste collection sites, and advanced food waste composting.
- Green Cleaning: 7-8 pm Wednesday, Nov. 9. Learn how to make three versatile and environmentally friendly household cleaners. Participants will be eligible to receive a green cleaning kit (supplies limited).
- Low Waste Living: 7-8 pm Wednesday, Nov. 16. Learn how to live a low waste lifestyle, including tips and resources to refuse, repair, refurbish, reuse and donate.
