Public health is a dynamic, challenging and exciting profession. Clark County Public Health believes that developing future public health leaders is critical for our community. We are committed to providing opportunities for education, training and experience to emerging public health professionals. By partnering with higher education institutions, our staff strives to offer exceptional internships in different public health disciplines. We host unpaid internships as virtual or a hybrid model for student interns in several public health programs.
Current opportunities
Clark County Public Health accepts requests for internships with any of our programs. Explore the Public Health website to learn more about our programs before submitting a request for an internship. Applications should specify the program with which you would like to intern.
Public Health has the following internship opportunities currently available:
Health Assessment and Evaluation program has data analysis and product development projects (data brief or infographic) on the following topics:
- Systemic racism
- Gun violence
- Motor vehicle accidents
- Suicide
- Intimate partner violence
Additional projects will be posted as they become available.
