Accessible fishing platform coming to Haapa Boat Launch

Clark County Public Works, Parks and Lands is announcing the construction of a new ADA-compliant fishing platform at Haapa Boat Launch Park in Woodland. To complete this work, portions of the parking lot, the fishing bulkheads and associated trail will be closed as early as the end of July. These areas will remain closed for several months until the project is completed. Learn more. 

Road preservation work along Northeast Sunset Falls Road coming in July

Northeast Sunset Falls Road has been identified as a priority for road preservation treatments. The road provides access to recreation in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Road preservation work will begin in July to complete a chip seal asphalt layer, replace speed bumps, and restripe the roadway. Drivers in the area can expect occasional lane closures, delays and traffic impacts. Learn more. 

Drivers should expect delays on Northeast 130th Avenue when safety improvement project construction begins in July

Construction will begin in July to install safety improvements along Northeast 130th Avenue between Northeast 76th Street and Northeast Padden Parkway. A marked crosswalk with lighting and a flashing beacon will be installed at the intersection of Northeast 130th Avenue and the Padden Parkway multiuse trail. Learn more. 

Traffic delays and closures for summer road work

Summer is the season for road projects. In addition to road construction projects, work to apply cape seal, slurry seal, chip seal and hot mix asphalt can cause traffic delays and road closures. While out on the roads this summer, drivers should expect delays or detours.
